Satuday, 22 November 2025
Kick-off is at 17h00
Liverpool FC will be looking to bounce back to winning ways in the Premier League when they host Nottingham Forest at Anfield on 22 November.
Current Form
The Reds succumbed to a 3-0 defeat to Manchester City away on 9 November and it was their second defeat in their last three matches in the league.
Liverpool have won two of their last three home matches in the Premier League at Anfield, while the other game ended in a defeat.
Forest, on the other hand, secured a 3-1 victory over Leeds United at home on 9 November and they are undefeated in their last two matches in the league.
However, the Tricky Trees are winless in their last five away matches in the Premier League, having registered three defeats and two draws on the road.
Team News
Liverpool have Alisson Becker, Jayden Danns, Curtin Jones, Jeremie Frimpong, Giovanni Leoni and Stefan Bajcetic on their injury list, but the Merseyside giants don't have suspension concerns.
Meanwhile, Angus Gunn, Douglas Luiz, Callum Hudson-Odoi, Chris Wood, Dilane Bakwa, Ola Aina and Oleksandr Zinchenko are all on Forest's injury list, and there are no suspension concerns for the Nottinghamshire side.
Quotes
"I don't think you can talk about the title this early on in the season, regardless of what position you're in, but you need to then consistently start winning games again for that to even come into question," Liverpool vice-captain Andy Robertson said after his side's defeat to Man City.
"It's definitely not a question that's getting spoken about in the changing room or anything. We just need to get back to the levels that we know we can, the levels that we brought the last two games [against Villa and Real] in particular. If we do that on a more regular basis, then we pick up more points than we won't.
"We wanted to end a really strong week but it wasn't meant to be. We were making strides and then obviously getting a knock."
Head-to-Head
Liverpool and Forest drew 1-1 in their last meeting in the league, which was in January 2025 at City Ground.
As a result, the Tricky Trees are undefeated in two matches in the Premier League against the Reds, having registered one draw and one win.
